osx - Where are OS X Terminal Window Groups saved -


i know can save window groups in terminal using windows > save windows group…, explained in mac os x / open terminal specified windows.

however, terminal save these states? switch between imac , macbook , want sync these settings somehow. i'm thinking use reverse symlink between settings , dropbox, need know first.

window groups saved in plist file @ ~/library/preferences/com.apple.terminal.plist. edit these using plist file editor comes xcode ('open .apple.terminal.plist' shell sufficient if you've got xcode installed).

fortunately don't have catch-22 when editing file terminal window. terminal doesn't automatically checkpoint file on exit, can edit file, exit terminal, restart in order refresh data file.
