iphone - how does clock and calendar icon works -


i curious know how clock , calendar icon on ios shows real time , date respectively? can make such icons app?

calendar shows date, clock shows time starting in ios7.

you can't things in own app, that's apple thing. maybe in future apple provide api this, not right now.
