Calling methods in jar from a rails application -


i creating web application in ruby-on-rails 4. there jar files of application have integrate application. have call methods of class files contained in jars. please let me know how can call methods in jar files ror application? pointers/links help. thanks.

you might want check out jruby. it's implementation of ruby runs in jvm , has access java app would. here instructions on using jars , java classes jruby. can still use rails jruby.

heroku has migration guide details moving ruby on rails jruby on rails might out, not gems compatible jruby.

How to mention the localhost in android -

i trying call localhost in android application. unfortunately not possible used several methods emulator local host http://10.0.2.2/android/dbconnection.php and network ip address http://192.168.1.xx/android/dbconnection.php also http://localhost:8080/android/dbconnection.php but nothing connected localhost. purpose refer stackoverflow answers not working i facing same problem when worked on localhost. referred stackoverflow answer got solution create new emulator works fine in new emulator.
