ios - Retina , non retina images, showing white background -
i have app designer has given me assets or png's in 2 formats, non retin , retina, well formatted , named @2 properly. retina images work fine, non retina images show weird white background behind them. ever experience this?
here in 2 images, both showing against black uiview, when running retina arrow fills black background, non retina devices white background.
i don't think it's problem, question forgot @2x in name of image.
non-retina display correct name youimage.png , retina youimage@2x.png
check youimage.png in photoshop (for example) , check if background not part of image itself. append me more one...
edit:
since added 2 picture in post, can confirm:
non-retina picture (the small on) got white background embedded. ask designer remove , use transparent background.
edit2:
try picture non-retina image. removed background (quick , durty test)

edit3:
edited image , set red background. can see non-retina image embed background.
