postgresql - transaction in function of postgtresql -


from research have done far. have found in postgrsql functions can not transactionized within. had called piece of code can transactionized. have requirement introduce transaction on db level. appreciated.

reading between lines, think want autonomous subtransactions. these not supported postgresql @ time (9.3 or older). standard workaround use dblink have postgresql make new connection self. it's not super-efficient, works.
