flash - How "recompile" .fla to .swf with actionscripts -


so have .swf; lets call 'old'.

i downloaded sothink , able 'decompile' .fla comes shape, image, font, sprite, frame , action folders have respective file types in each.

my main intent modify 1 actionscript (.as) file inside action/com/'companyname'/controller/site/. go flash cc (creative cloud) , edit 1 (.as) talking , save changes.

so want 'recompile' , new .swf has changed .as made. go (in flash) open>something.fla.

here weird thing happens: .fla opens , other folders (shape, image, font, sprite , frame) there action folder. despite go ahead , publish.

the resulting .swf appears, has actionscripts (when in flash showed none), more painfully doesnt have .as modified (or other .as thats nested.

am doing totally wrong? how should properly? want change 1 .as file , know change make.

i used flash pro cs6 instead of flash pro cc.
